WhatsApp is updating its macOS desktop app

While WhatsApp's desktop version for Windows 11 receives message feedback and other enhancements, it looks that Apple's macOS is next on the list.

According to WABetaInfo, you'll be able to link your Android and iPhone to the macOS software, allowing you to enjoy the multi-device capability. This allows you to handle your messages even if your smartphone is switched off.

Meta chat program aspires to be as accessible as MSN Messenger on laptops and computers. The Windows 11 desktop software already has message feedback, video and audio conversations, and the ability to send gifs to one another.

Getting the same experience on macOS after prior versions lost these functionalities would be advantageous to many people, and it will result in one fewer tab used in WhatsApp Web, where you can manage your messages in the web browser.

Since WWDC 2022 isn't far away, we could see upgrades to Apple's iMessage, which would be good. It would be a tremendous improvement to see more effects or faster ways to access stickers and emoticons.

However, it appears like WhatsApp will soon be available as its own app for macOS, which is fantastic news for its fans.
